摘要：闭壳肌重是墨西哥湾扇贝（Argopecten irradians concentricus）遗传育种的目标性状，但在育种实践中难以直接测量其重量，为获得能反应闭壳肌重，且简单易测的经济性状，研究了墨西哥湾扇贝多种经济性状的相关性，并分析了多种经济性状对闭壳肌重的决定效应。2010年10月，从广东雷州覃斗养殖群体随机挑选102个1龄的墨西哥湾扇贝，测量其壳长、壳高、壳宽、绞合线长、体重和闭壳肌重共6个经济性状，研究了各经济性状间的相关系数，以及壳长、壳高、壳宽、绞合线长、体重为自变量对闭壳肌重作因变量的通径系数与决定系数。结果显示：所测量的性状间均存在显著正相关（P＜0.01）；在测量的经济性状中，体重对闭壳肌重的相关系数、直接效应和决定系数均为最大，其次是壳长。研究结果说明了在墨西哥湾扇贝遗传育种过程中，通过间接选择可以提高闭壳肌重量，而且可以选择易测的壳长性状作为育种目标性状。

Effects of main economic traits on adductor weight of
Argopecten irradians concentricus Say

Abstract: Adductor weight is an important objective trait for selective breeding of the bay scallop, Argopecten irradians concentricus. However, it is difficult to measure the adductor weigh in breeding practice. Effect of various economic traits on adductor weight was examined in this study in order to find the trait that is most closely associated with adductor weight, and is easy to measure. A total of 102 one-year-old animals were sampled at random from the hatchery in Tandou, Leizhou. Shell length (SL), shell height (SH), shell width (SW), hinge length (HL), body weight (BW) and adductor weight (AW) of each individual were measured. Correlation coefficients between the economic traits were calculated. Path analysis were conducted by taking the AW as a dependent variable and the other five economic traits (SL, SH, SW, HL, BW) as independent variables for calculating path coefficients and determining coefficients. The results showed that the correlation coefficients between the main economic traits were significant (P＜0.01). BW had a predominant correlation coefficient, direct effect and determination coefficient on AW, follow by SL. The present results suggests that adductor weight should be improved by indirect selection and shell length be an objective trait when designed breeding programs in this species.
